Training Programs

In today's uncertain world, security, law enforcement and military forces are required to operate in a wide variety of hazardous environments. With continuing advances in criminal sophistication and warfare technology, the need for more advanced and effective training tools for instructors to train our frontline personnel has never been stronger. At AIS, we understand this need and continue to meet this challenge by having designed and continue to advance the training features of PRISim®, Marksman™ and associated training products and services to meet the training needs of our nation’s heroes on the front lines.

AIS employs a full-time staff of current, former and retired local, state, federal and military instructors who are recognized in the industry as being leaders in their fields. Instructing internationally in the classroom, simulation sessions and during live-fire evolutions; the AIS training staff is focused on providing safe and realistic positive training that will promote a “winning attitude” for mission success.

Simulation Training Services

• PRISim® System Operation Familiarization
  With every installed PRISim® system, a basic system operation familiarization session is included. AIS installation / technical support staff will provide and overview to the system’s functionality and will be able to answer most all system design questions.
  
  NOTE: This session is restricted to PRISim® customers

• PRISim® Instructor Certification
  The goals set forward during PRISim® Instructor Certification will include but are not limited to being presented with the information needed to effectively assemble a PRISim® portable system (if applicable), operate, troubleshoot, and to maximize the instructional features of PRISim® during computer – based simulation judgment training sessions. As well as being presented information to establish a basis to implement training to empower their training participants with the ability to assess situations, communicate to coworkers, communicate and control adversaries. The training will also address effective deployment of a force option tool to stop the actions of an adversary while complying with federal, state and local laws; as well as procedural guidelines.

• Scenario Production Training
  The PRISim® optional self authoring software allows the end user to script, film, author and train with custom content that will specifically meet an individual agencies training needs. This course is instructed by our full-time multimedia staff, recognized as experts in producing the most advanced and professional video based training scenarios in the industry.

• Law Enforcement PRISim® Contract Training
  AIS not only designs and sells the best in Judgment Simulation, we use our product to provide training to contracting end users as well! PRISim® Contract Training sessions are customized to meet the training needs of the contracting law enforcement agency. AIS provides a fully functional PRISim® system with ShootBack® and capture features, staffed by a full-time PRISim® Master Instructor. Training sessions may include resolutions involving all levels of force, including verbal, non-lethal, less-lethal and lethal force options. The training points may focus on a wide variety of topics such as firearm manipulation skills, marksmanship, tactical considerations, will to win, cover, tactics of verbal communications and much more.

• Specialized PRISim® Contract Training
  The goals of Specialized PRISim® Contract Training are very similar to the Law Enforcement sessions; however they are customized to meet the training needs of our non law enforcement customers. AIS will provide a PRISim® system that is appropriate for the specified training session and a PRISim® Master Instructor who has a subject expertise in the area of instruction which the training is focused. Training sessions may include scene assessment, threat identification, problem solving that may, or may not involve resolutions in all levels of force, including verbal, non-lethal, less-lethal and lethal force options if applicable.

• Firearms Training
  Holding to the “Training to Win” philosophy, AIS has adopted a highly successful handgun and rifle training programs that spans the scope from Operator to Tactical operations to the Instructor levels of instruction. A complete training program is introduced to the participant to instill operating knowledge and mind set, along with training in the realism and decisive accuracy. AIS uses positive, realistic and safe instructional methods in the classroom, on the range and during simulation sessions to make these classes truly, all inclusive and informative.
