Richard Oberlander, Use of Force Simulator Instructor
Rick Oberlander is a 15-year law enforcement veteran, having served on a municipal police department in Washington state. His experience includes patrol duty, acting Chief of Police, street drug operations, and Sergeant in charge of major crimes investigations. Rick served as a deputy coroner, training officer, and firearms and officer safety instructor. He has conducted high-risk warrant and tactical operations. Rick is a certified firearms and use-of-force simulation instructor.
Timothy Bollig, Training Projects Manager
Tim Bollig's specialties are police rifle training for patrol and tactical deployment, as well as ballistic performance and firearms selection education. He is a veteran southern California law enforcement officer. He has been assigned to detentions, canine handling, SWAT, border drug interdiction, patrol in both urban and rural environments. Tim's instructional history includes defensive tactics, chemical agents, patrol and SWAT tactics, use-of-force, firearms safety, and firearms operations.
Joe Evans, Use of Force Simulator Instructor
Joe Evans is a veteran of 20 years police service in the Oklahoma City metro area. He served four years as the lead firearms simulator instructor for the Oklahoma state police academy (CLEET). He has years of experience training police officers from across the country and in Central America. He is a NRA High Master competitive shooter with five state championships to his credit.
John Wills, Field Manager, Training
John spent 2 years in the military before serving 12 years with the Chicago Police Department (CPD). He served in patrol, Special Operations, SWAT, Mayoral Body Guard, and crime lab. He left the CPD to become a Special Agent with the FBI, where he worked organized crime, violent crime, and drugs, working undercover for over 2 years. John served as the Principal Firearms Instructor, Training Coordinator, and sniper team leader in the Detroit Division for 10 years. Before retiring from the FBI, he spent 7 years teaching at the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia. He has taught Street Survival domestically and internationally, as well as supervised new agent training at the academy.
Perry Harris, Training Manager, AIS
Perry Harris is a former North Carolina law enforcement officer, Chief of Police and police academy instructor – coordinator. Perry has an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement Technology and has a working history in public safety and academy training program management. Perry is an active instructor in firearms and defensive tactics; training both civilian law enforcement and military personnel. Perry is a respected instructor who brings valuable “real world” instructional knowledge and intense motivation to his instruction.
