You are part of an escort for a dignitary.  A man approaches and threatens her.  He pulls a gun and shoots.

You are a security officer in a hotel. A man pulls the fire alarm and claims he smelled ammonia in his hotel room.  The odor is gone by the time you arrive.

You are responding to an alarm on one of the guest floors.  There is a man claiming he set off the alarm.  A girl approaches you and asks for help, she is lost and says a man hurt her.

An angry man comes in and argues with another guy.  He leaves the room, returns with another man he is arguing with, pulls out a knife and stabs the second buy.

You respond to a call of a man with a gun holding another man hostage.   The man shoots at you and runs off

You are responding to a man arguing with a female at her office.  The man slaps the woman and turns and wants to fight.  He attacks with his fists.

EP6_Pier Sentry FPCON Bravo
You are a pier sentry at a conus pier. Your post orders require you to provide cover for Sentry one who performs 100% identification checks, personal inspections, and baggage inspections.  The pier is at force protection condition Bravo. Terrorist threat is low.  A man approaches and needs to work on the ship. There is a gun found in his toolbox. He claims it is unloaded and reaches for it, draws it and shoots.

You are the cover sentry when a vehicle approaches. The driver shoots and drives on through the gate.

You are the Sentry at an ECP when a vehicle stops at the gate. The driver isn’t really cooperating. He produces a gun, then gets out and runs.

As an officer, you are walking on patrol in your local school. You come upon what appears to be a parent and teacher arguing in the lunch room area.

Scenario 1: Parent has a hand gun
The parent pulls out a hand gun and backs away. He sets the gun down and raises his hands. He then lunges for the gun, first shooting at the trainee and then the teacher.   

Scenario 2: Parent leaves and returns with a shot gun
The parent immediately backs away, leaving the lunch room. The teacher then answers a few questions. In the middle of the questioning, the suspect returns with a shotgun.

A man empties his pocket and enters through security screening. The medal detector buzzes. The man steps back through the detector remembering he had a gun in his pocket. He pulls the gun out in a non-threatening manor, lays it on the table, and backs away.

You are on patrol and you come upon what appears to be a drug deal. You confront the two men who immediately leave as a third man appears. The third man is belligerent as he backs away. He then pulls a gun, shoots and runs.

You confront a trespasser in a gym. He becomes belligerent and non-compliant. After a short time he becomes aggressive and attacks with his fists.

You’re confronted during a card game for cheating. The confronting cowboy then draws his six-shooter and shoots you.

You’re a sheriff serving an arrest warrant on a horse rustling, card-cheating cowboy. You approach the cowboy to confront him while he’s playing cards in the local saloon. The cowboy draws his six-shooter and shoots.

You approach a cowboy in a thicket of trees. He challenges you to a gunfight.

You’re having a drink at the saloon as a cowboy appears from a backroom. As he clears the end of the bar he is seen holding a shotgun by his side. He raises the shotgun and shoots you.

You are on patrol through the local woods when a man steps out from behind a tree and demands your wallet.  He has a gun drawn on you and will shoot if you don’t get him first!

You come to an elevator that opens with two men inside.  One man has a gun to the other’s head. The man with the gun tells you to put your gun down, if you don’t he will shoot him.

A man walks through a check point and sets off the metal detector.  He says he has a bomb and that he wants the door open. He starts to count down, and then he detonates the bomb.

A man walks through a check point and sets off the metal detector.  He draws a gun and insists on getting through. If he doesn’t get through he will shoot.

You’re in a vehicle and you have come up beside another parked vehicle. There appears to be two individuals engaged in a struggle in the back seat. As you exit your vehicle a woman is heard screaming. She frees herself from the struggle, exits the vehicle and runs towards you. Running past you she screams, “He’s trying to rape me.” The man then exits the vehicle on the far side to confront you. As he steps from behind the vehicle you see that he is holding a large revolver by his side. He eventually raises the weapon, shoots, and runs off.

You respond to a body alarm in a recreation area.  An officer is cornered by several inmates.

You notice a vehicle that fits an APB of a known suspect’s vehicle and you make the stop.  The suspect waits in his car for the trainee’s orders.  If done incorrectly, the suspect can produce a weapon and shoot at the trainee.

After each response this scenario goes into a loop awaiting the next command.  In many cases there is only one option available.  If the option is a verbal response from the suspect, the scenario returns to the previous loop after playing the response.

This is an active shooter scenario. There are two suspects and one innocent. You must shoot the first suspect to continue with the scenario. Shooting the innocent before you encounter the second suspect ends the scenario. There are two versions in this scenario (Catwalk Far and Catwalk Close). The suspects are at a greater distance in the far version making for a more difficult shot.

EP36_Traffic Stop - Non Lethal
This is a vehicle stop scenario. The driver exits the vehicle as two other men exit and walk away disappearing into the ditch. The driver then approaches to confront you.

This is a vehicle stop scenario.  Three men exit the vehicle and approach. One man approaches and asking for directions as another man shoots.

You enter a large vacant cubical area. Men are heard arguing behind a small room in the center of the large cubical area. As you approach on of the men turns and immediately shoots.

This is an active shooter scenario. You are in an office building with a partner. There are two suspects with guns. To continue the scenario you must shoot the suspects. If you do not shot or miss the scenario ends.

You are on a country road. A gun man appears from the right shoots and quickly runs out of the scene to the left.

You are on patrol on a country road and you have exited your patrol vehicle to talk to a man. The man continues to walk down the road away from you. At one point he stops and turns around to talk to you. His right hand is hidden behind his body. After short time he pulls out a knife and attacks.

You find a man mentally disturbed man hiding in the bushes. After a short moment he appears from the bushes with a stick. As he walks up the hill towards you he begins to threaten you with the stick.   After a short time he approaches you with the stick.

EP39_Disgruntled Office Worker
You are responding to an office building. You meet an man who informs you that and employee, who he just fired, had punched him in the face. He gives you a description of the man. Down the hall you see the man walk into a restroom. He has a shoulder bag. After a few moments he reappears with a hand gun. With the hand gun by his side he slowly walks down the hall towards you. At two moments innocent people step between you and the man with the gun.

EP39_CCC_Office Breakroom dispute
As you are sitting in a office break room a couple begin to argue.  The eventually stands and the man starts to walk away before turning back to face the women. As he turns back he pulls something out of his right pocket. Facing the woman he opens the blade to a knife and then attacks stabbing the woman before attacking.

This is an active shooter scenario. There are three suspects with guns and one innocent.
Each suspect with a gun must be shot to continue with the scenario. If you don’t shoo or miss the scenario ends. If you shoot the innocent the scenario ends.

You respond to a man attempt to enter a trailer. As you walk around to the back of the trailer you see him prying on the side of the trailer with a machete. He stops and backs away holding the machete. He then drops it and runs off.

You are responding to an officer down call from a vehicle stop. When you arrive on scene the officer is on the ground and there is a woman next to him. As you approach they inform you that a man is on the hill. You hear gun shots and turn to look up the hill while taking cover behind the down officer’s vehicle. A man then pops up several times to shoot at you.

You are the backup officer responding to a high risk vehicle stop. As you exit your vehicle and take cover behind your open door a woman exits the vehicle. She has a gun. She runs away and hides behind a pick up park along the road. After a few moments she leans out and shoots.

This is an active shooter scenario. A man is shooting people inside a building. After a partner and you search move down a long hallway you comearound a corner and see a man holding the woman at gunpoint. After a few moments he pushes her into a room and closes the door. You then hear gunshots. After moving down the hall to the closed door you open it to see the woman on the floor as the man putsthe gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

While on patrol you come across a woman throwing trash out of a pickup along the highway. After exiting your vehicle and approaching, she stops and after a moment complies and begins to putthe trash bags back into the pickup. After picking up the last bag she approaches throwing it at you.

You have stopped a man on a motorcycle. As you get out of your vehicle he gets off the bike and confronts you eventually attacking with fists up.

You have stopped a vehicle. As you get out of your vehicle a man gets out of the vehicle and confronts you eventually returning to the vehicle and driving off.

EP46_19 Wing_Shotgun Traffic Stop
You have exited your vehicle on a vehicle stop. As you stand behind the cover of you’re a man exits his vehicle and approaches to confront you. He then returns to his vehicle, opens the back door of the vehicle, and pulls out a shotgun. With the shotgun down by his side he approaches again. After a few moments his raises it quickly from the hip and shoots before returning to the car and driving off.

You are responding to a man who has made it to the inside of the airport perimeter. He walks across the tarmac and stops to confront you. He eventually pulls out a gun concealed under his shirt and shoots before running off.

You are the backup officer for another officer confronting a man in a park area. After the officer has a brief conversation with the man he turns to you. At that moment the man pulls out a gun and steps behind the officer taking him hostage. After a brief moment he shots the officer and then himself.

As you approach a vehicle in a parking lot a man steps out to confront you while standing at the door. He then steps towards you, draws a gun and shot before running off.

EP47_BPD_Alarm Response
You are responding to a building alarm. You enter the building with another officer and walk down a long ramp before turning right. At that moment a securityguard appears through a door way on the right. You then walk down a short hallway to confront a man who compiles. After taking him into custody another man appears from the left with a gun in his waist. He then pulls the gun, shoots and runs off.

EP47_BPD_Domestic
You walk down a hallway and find a man and woman arguing. As you enter the room the man and woman stop arguing and confront you. Both the man and woman stand up and shortly after the man pulls out a knife. After a short time the female cross in front of him and he attacks you with the knife.

EP47_Room Clearing
You are with two other officers doing a building clearing. As you get to the end of the hallway a man steps out from an entrance on the right, raises a weapon and shoots one of the officers in the back before disappearing. You move to the entrance and turn the corner. After traveling down a short hallway you see a woman gagged and tied to a chair. A man then steps out from the left and shoots the woman. This is the same as the “Default Left” override branch.

EP48_WCSO_Arson
You enter a building to find a man pouring gas on the floor as you work your way around a large vehicle. After he backs into view with the gas can he sets the can down and pulls a gun, shoots and runs off.

On patrol you come across a car partway in the ditch. As you exit your vehicle a man stumbles out of the vehicle holding an empty bottle. After arguing with you he puts down the bottle and complies.

empty wine bottle en his hand. After confronting him he becomes angry. After a few moments he raises the bottle and attacks.

You are searching a school with another officer. The scenario is designed to demonstrate the functionality of flashlight in PRISim. At the end you find a young girl in a corner covering her eyes.

You are responding to classroom where a young man is brandishing a knife. You enter the room with another officer and he flanks right to face off with the student. The student has a knife. The student, after a long period of time, charges towards the other officer and is shot by the officer.

You and another officer are responding to a classroom where a young man being unruly. As you enter the classroom the other officer flanks to the left. The young man then faces of to you. After a brief moment the other officer moves in and forcefully takes the student into custody.

EP51_ODOC_Cell Block Riot
A group of inmates have started a riot in a cell block. You and the TERT team go in and use the necessary force to stop the situation.

EP51_SAPD_Dave Traffic
You pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation. When you stop the vehicle the drive gets out and is angry that he is being stopped again. If the trainee doesn’t use a form of less lethal the man will escalate and pull a gun and shoot.
