Advanced Interactive Systems (AIS) is a small business with three primary divisions: Reality Response (formerly known as Reality by Design or RBD), Nitor (including AIS Ltd.), and the Simulation and Training Products (STP) division.
Reality Response is primarily engaged with conducting research and development and building real-time, distributed, 3D graphics-based virtual simulations in the DoD and homeland security markets.
Nitor is an international division responsible for design and construction of military training facilities including live fire ranges. The STP division designs and develops video-based, use-of-force, judgmental simulation systems for the law enforcement and military markets.
AIS has successfully managed and executed hundreds of government contracts/orders. AIS has performed work on these contracts as both a prime and subcontractor. These contracts are a mix of sole source, Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR), General Services Administration (GSA) and IDIQ type contracts. AIS previously held a prime contract with PEO STRI (STRICOM at the time) for the Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT)/ Restrictive Terrain (RT) IDIQ.
