John Rigas, Chairman
Mr. Rigas is a founding partner of Sciens Venture Partners. Mr. Rigas and Mr. Zilkha have been business partners since 1988. Mr. Rigas has completed in excess of 50 private equity investments on behalf of affiliates of the fund and serves on the board of several portfolio companies.
Donald E. Zilkha, Director
Mr. Zilkha is a founding partner of Sciens Venture Partners, the predecessor of SVP II. Mr. Zilkha is responsible for fund raising, transaction sourcing, decision-making and monitoring of the investment portfolio and serves on several Boards of the portfolio investments.
William M. Keys, Director
Lt. General Keys, USMC (Ret.) has been a Director of AIS since 1997. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and President of New Colt Holding Corporation. Lt. Gen. Keys formerly served as the Commander of the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Atlantic.
James A. Schubauer II, Director
Mr. Schubauer is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Westbury
Equity Partners. Mr. Schubauer has over 15 years of experience in
private equity investing and investment banking. Prior to joining
Westbury, Mr. Schubauer was a partner of First Atlantic Capital,
a private equity fund dedicated to growth capital investments and
leveraged buyouts.
General the Lord Guthrie
of Craigiebank, Director
Lord Guthrie is currently Colonel of The Life Guards, Gold Stick
to The Queen and Colonel Commandant of the SAS. He served the Welsh
Guard and the SAS throughout Europe, Malaysia and East Africa for
over 40 years. Apart from holding several senior staff appointments
and commanderships, he was Chief of the Defence Staff and the Principal
Military Advisor to two prime ministers and three Secretaries of
State for Defence. He retired from the Army in 2001.
Joseph G. Fogg III, Director
Joseph G. Fogg III is Chairman and CEO of Westbury
Partners, which he founded Westbury in 1994. Mr. Fogg has more than
32 years of experience providing companies access to capital. Previously,
he was a Senior Managing Director at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc.
Mr. Fogg serves as Co-Chairman of the Investment Committee for Princes
Gate Investors III, L.P and as an Advisory Director of Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Fogg is on the Board of Directors of the following Westbury
portfolio companies: Aurora Flight Services, Inc., Maxspeed Corporation,
Kenexa Corporation, QPass, Inc. and Cryptek, Inc. He is also a Director
of The Yale University Art Gallery, the Yale Development Board and
Vice Chairman of The Keewaydin Foundation. Mr. Fogg earned his BA
in Economics from Yale College and his MBA from the Harvard Business
School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar.
Timothy W. May, Director
Tim May served as President and CEO for AIS from November 2000 until he retired in September 2004. He is a veteran information technology industry executive whose career has encompassed chief executive officer and positions in marketing, sales and senior operations in both hardware and software companies. He is currently a principal in May & Associates, LLC, which provides management consulting and government relations services to its clients.
